The California Latino Agenda: Critical for California’s Future

LCF launched the California Latino Agenda (CLA) to strengthen Latino voices in policy and to ensure that communities have the tools they need to champion equitable policies. LCF leverages its unique position as a community fund to connect, educate, and invest in this one-of-a-kind network. To date this has meant strengthened statewide partnerships, increased trust among partners, and growth in advocacy capacity for Latino-based organizations. The annual Sacramento Summit is the signature forum to educate community leaders on important policy and budget issues, to inspire connection among California leaders, and to spark local collaborative efforts.

With shifting demographics and major reforms ahead, it is imperative to strengthen our communities’ voices and increase our collective ability to implement effective solutions for the challenges facing California. The California Latino Agenda is doing just that and the Summit is a core element of this work. As you know, Latinos are California’s future and that future begins now.
