Vision 2020: Investing Now in the Growing Latino Population and the Future of the Bay Area (PDF)

Vision 2020: Investing Now in the Growing Latino Population and the Future of the Bay Area is first in a series. This issue brief begins with a demographic overview of Bay Area Latinos and then presents major findings in each of the five areas: educational achievement, healthy communities, empowering Latinas, economic development and civic engagement. The Latino Community Foundation embarked on an extensive planning process that began with a review of how Latinos fare on more than 100 social, economic and health indicators. What emerged from this analysis are five priority issue areas, which will be the focus of the Foundation's efforts in the years ahead.
